* The premiums were produced in one of three Types (formats): Type 1 (1933): Narrow: 9-1/2 by 13-3/4 inches Type 2 (1934): Wide: 11-3/4 by 13-3/4 inches Type 3 (1935+): Special: 8-1/2 by 11-3/4 inches ** The narrow format "All Stars" premium has no identifying caption. The "All Stars" team was assembled from International League teams in 1911 to play in a best-of-seven series against the League Champion Rochester Bronchos. Each player is numbered on the premium but the numbers are not correlated with player names (research is ongoing to identify the players). *** The 1912 Rochester team composite is printed within a thin black frameline. Note: the captions on the early team premiums suggest that they were produced along with the other premiums in the set, more than two decades after the teams played. |
