1915 PM1 Ornate Frame Pins -- Jimmy Archer
$925

Produced by an unknown maker around 1915, these pins are known in the hobby as PM1 Ornate Frame Pins due to their fancy borders. This pin features a full body pose of Chicago Cubs catcher Jimmy archer.

Interestingly, there are two variations known in the PM1 set. The Archer pin is found both with and without (as with this pin) his name printed at the bottom. In the second variation, the Johnny Evers pin is found both with and without "Chicago" added at the bottom.

This example is in very good condition with a sharp photo of Archer. The back is as designed and fully functional.

Note: A Set Profile for the PM1 Ornate Frame Pins is provided on the Old Cardboard website.
