The variations have tinsel added that may have been added at the factory or done by hand by an early collector. Needs further research. Set may be a candidate to move to Group B.

The series was illustrated by Bernhart T. Wall (1872-1956) and published by J. I. Austen Co. of Chicago. Wall was an American historian and lithographic illustrator. He is credited with the design of more than 5,000 comic cards, and became known as the "Postcard King."
