| A very scarce card of Hornsby was included in the 1917 D350-2 Standard Biscuit set and generally qualifies as his rookie card. About the same time, two very popular cards of Hornsby were issued within the Collins McCarthy and Boston Store sets. Another early card depicting Hornsby was produced during the 1919-21 time frame and is catalogued as a W514 strip card. Finallly, another very early card of Hornsby originates from the 1920-21 Big-Heads strip card issue. |
