| All collectors will agree that the true Rookie Card for Amos Rusie was produced in conjunction with the 1887-90 Old Judge tobacco series. Subsequently, another popular, early Rusie card was included within the 1888-89 Old Judge Cabinets issue. Several years later, another career contemporary card picturing Rusie was included in the 1895 Mayo Cut Plug tobacco set. Additionally, Rusie also appeared in another 1895 baseball card set known as Newsboy Cabinets. Finally, a commemorative card depicting Rusie was issued as part of the 1973-80 TCMA All-Time Greats series. |
