| Although it is very difficult to locate, the earliest card picturing Al Simmons hails from the 1923-24 Exhibits Postcard issue. Another popular, early card of Simmons appears within the 1925-31 Postcard-Back Exhibits series. Subsequently, a black and white card depicting Simmons was included in the 1926 Sports Co. of America set. In addition, a tough to find 1926 M101-7 Sporting News Supplement depicting Simmons was also produced. Finally, a very rare 1926-31 "4-on-1" Postcard-Back Exhibits example of Simmons also exists as well. |
