With only one copy known to exist, the remounted 1893 Just So Tobacco Jesse Burkett represents one of the toughest Rookie Cards to obtain of any Hall of Famer. Five years later, Burkett was included in another extremely scarce baseball collectibles set, the 1898 Cameo Pepsin Pinbacks set. Subsequently, Burkett would appear on another extremely tough card to find, the 1902-11 W600 Sporting Life Cabinet. Although it was produced after his playing days were over, another popular Burkett card was included in the 1909 T204 Ramly set. Finally, a card of Burkett was issued within the 1921 Koester Bread New York Giants set, another very difficult item to locate. |
